Fixing stretch films are made of low-pressure polyethylene (LLDPE). Plastic foils have a wide range of uses, especially in the fixation and packaging of goods transported on pallets. Furthermore, plastic films serve as protection against mechanical damage, weather effects during transport or as protection against spillage.

By wrapping the product with a fixing stretch film with the necessary tensile force without thermal action, due to the shape memory of the film, a fixing force is created and thus the film shrinks, which ensures the stability of the goods secured in this way. Fixing plastic film is produced in different variants of elongation (e.g. elongation of 150% means that 1 m of film can be stretched by up to 150%, i.e. to 2.5 m).
